History
The history of the plant can be traced back to Werner and Amelung, who founded a factory for processing the secondary products of charcoal production in the middle of the 19th century.

| 1999 | Establishment of Methanova GmbH. |
| 2000 | Capacity expansion for Hexamethylene tetramine. |
| 2003 | INEOS acquires Methanova and forms INEOS Paraform. |
